Its original name was Red Rock but soon was changed and named after the first justice of the Supreme Court of the United States to attend law school which is Levi Woodbury. The city has an area of 92.52 square kilometers or 35.72 square miles with a population of nearly 70,000 residents. It is just located east of Saint Paul along Interstate 94. The Historic Heritage House 

It was built in 1870 and is said to be one of the oldest structures still in Woodbury. It soon was converted into a museum and is open to the public with free admission. You can visit the gardens with over 100 different kinds of plants that are now being taken care of by the Heritage Society. It is open every 2nd and 4th Sundays starting in June to September from the hours of 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The beach is currently available from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily however there is no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk. There are also some restrictions that we need to follow as park guests whenever we visit the place such as no fishing, no glass containers, no pets allowed, no smoking, no fires allowed, no kayak, boat or canoe launching, and children six years and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water.
