Minnesota State Fair

Considered as the largest state fair in the United States based on average daily attendance of around 2 million people who attend the fair annually. In 2015, the Minnesota State Fair was named the best state fair in the United States by readers of USA Today. Started in 1859, this runs yearly 12 days prior to Labor Day. Its main attractions are Science, milk run, art, shows, machinery hill, food, and livestock. They also offer temporary and permanent rides as well as music. The fair is located at Falcon Heights, Minnesota near Como Park and Saint Anthony Park.

Summit Avenue

A street in Saint Paul, Minnesota built in 1887 was known as the longest avenue of Victorian homes. There are numbers of historic houses, school, churches, and synagogues.Some notable buildings are Cathedral of Saint Paul, Burbank–Livingston–Griggs House, Minnesota Governor's Residence, Pierce and Walter Butler House, and Dr. Ward Beebe House, William Mitchell, College of Law, Macalester College, University of St. Thomas, Saint Paul Seminary, The Burnquist House, and Mount Zion Temple.

Canal Park

Located across the Interstate 35 freeway from Downtown Duluth, it is a tourist and recreation-oriented district of Duluth. Some Canal Park's attractions are the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center, a 4.2-mile long lakewalk, the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A. Irvin floating ship museum, and a lighthouse pier. Canal Park was the home of broadcast studios for four Red Rock Radio stations until January 2017.

Split Rock Lighthouse

Located southwest of Silver Bay, Minnesota, is a lighthouse that was completed by the United States Lighthouse Service in 1910 that cost $75,000. Considered one of the most picturesque lighthouses in the U.S., soon became a tourist attraction for excursion boats and sailors. In 1969, the light was retired by the United States Coast Guards and now, it is part of the Split Rock Lighthouse State Park.

The Plummer Building - Mayo Clinic Historical Suite

Situated in Rochester, Minnesota, it is one of the many architecturally significant buildings on the Mayo Clinic campus. The design was collaborated by Henry Stanley Plummer and Franklin Ellerbe that was built in 1926. 

Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox

This was built in 1936 and was hailed as the "second most photographed statues in the United States" by the Kodak Company. Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox is located at the city of Bemidji, Minnesota. Its size is about 18 feet tall and 5 feet across its base (Paul Bunyan is 3 feet and Babe the Blue Ox is about 10 feet tall). The statues were featured in differenrt plays, songs, and programs such as the FX series Fargo, the film Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter, the Disney XD animated series Gravity Falls most notably in the season 2 episode Roadside Attraction, the 8th track from the album "Danza III: The Alpha - The Omega is called "Paul Bunyan and The Blue Ox" of the American mathcore band The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza. In order to repair some damage to the statues, the Rotary Club of Bemidji raised $53,000 and along with a $68,000 federal grant in March of 2006.

Minneapolis Skyway System

An interlinked collection of enclosed pedestrian footbridges. It is the longest continuous system in the world that connect various buildings in 80 full city blocks over 11 miles of Downtown Minneapolis it helps people to walk in climate-controlled comfort year-round. It also connects the 2nd and 3rd floors of various hotels, office towers, government and corporate offices, banks, retail stores, and restaurants to the  Nicollet Mall shopping district, the Mayo Clinic Square, and the sports facilities at Target Center, Target Field and U.S. Bank Stadium.

Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

Located near the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis and was created in 1988. Sculpture Garden is an eleven-acre park in Minneapolis. It reopened June 10, 2017, with 40 permanent art installations and several other temporary pieces that are moved in and out periodically. The Spoonbridge and Cherry fountain is the centerpiece of the garden.

Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka

A historic church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Winona in Winona, Minnesota, was designed during the winter of 1893. Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka is one of the tallest structure and prominent fixture on the city's skyline. This is a Polish Cathedral style that was designed by Charles G. Maybury & Son.

Wells Fargo Center

Completed in 1988, Wells Fargo Center is the third tallest building in Minneapolis, Minnesota which is 774 feet tall and is formerly known as “Norwest Center”. It was designed with a modernized art deco style by César Pelli. The United States Environmental Protection Agency recognized it as one of the 100 most energy efficient buildings in the USA. The building was praised by the Urban Land Institute in 1989 who honored it with their Award for Excellence in Large Scale Office Development. A branch of the Wells Fargo History Museum that exhibits an 1863 stagecoach, telegraph equipment, gold nuggets and coins is located in the skyway level. Hines is the current owner of the building.

Minnesota Twine Ball

Located in Darwin, Minnesota, this large ball of sisal twine was built and rolled by just one person named Francis A. Johnson. It is 12 feet in diameter and weighs 17,400 pounds. Johnson started rolling the twine in March of 1950 and wrapped 4 hours per day for 29 long years. It is currently housed in an enclosed gazebo across from the town park on Main Street. "Twine Ball Day" is celebrated on the second Saturday in August every year. Set a Guinness Book of World Records from 1979 until 1994 as the "biggest ball of twine".

100 Washington Square

A high-rise office building located in downtown Minneapolis that is 332 feet tall. The construction began in 1979 and was completed in 1981. It has 22 floors and covers 481,600 square feet. The 26th tallest building in the city and was designed by architect Minoru Yamasaki. Yamasaki also designed the World Trade Center in New York City and the Northwestern National Life Building in Minneapolis. A national real estate investing organization, Shorenstein, purchased the three buildings that comprise the Washington Square campus, including 100 Washington Square in 2015. A skyway also connects the building to The Crossings and Churchill Apartments. The largest tenant is ING, a successor to Northwestern National Life Insurance.
